The bulk of our expenditure was on advisory days in the field, with 90% of our expenditure being in the regions. The remaining amount was spent on corporate support services, partnerships and knowledge networking. SNV’s income sources in 2012 SNV continued its shift towards financial independence from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012, with €39 million in project and programme funding mobilised from external sources. Funding from the Ministry stood at €64 million in 2012, reflecting the ongoing decrease in Dutch government support for SNV in the lead-up to the eventual end of this core subsidy in 2015. We will continue to invest in our relationships with new and existing donors in 2013, diversifying our funding base in order to secure the future ability of SNV to fulfil its mission of poverty alleviation worldwide. 38 CONNECT #2 JULY 2013 Pagina 37
