That’s why we purchased our first geared MPV in 2008. It made us less dependent, in terms of availability, on the charter market. Today, Breadbox operates with a fleet of around 15 MPV and reefer vessels ranging from 3,000 up to 12,000 DWT. The fleet, partly owned and partly chartered, is dedicated to the needs of specific trades. The technical management of the vessels owned by the group is performed by Quality Marine Services in Rotterdam, a subsidiary of Breadbox Holding bv. Still, people and strong relationships are what matter most. That’s why we keep our company structure flexible, our communication lines short, and our procedures simple.
